Description

Inspired by our March of the Matriarchs pilgrimages to the elephants in Zimbabwe, Marietta van der Werff and Janet Johnson guide graduates of the Africa sacred journeys to meet with the elephants cousins of the water, the whales in Tonga. Carrying with them the blessing of the land and spirit of Africa.

This pilgrimage is for women only, just 12 in total, there is one place still available.

There will be daily intimate close up encounters with mother whales and their calves, who are preparing to take to the ocean from the gentle coves of Tonga. We will stay in simple beautiful fales (Tongan beach huts) beside the beach, 5o metres from our private charter boat with expert local and english speaking whale guides.
